Pretty great stuff! It's cool seeing cartoony animation with this much polish and care put into it, some real beautiful animation and paintings in here. I do think you guys could've had some more inventive ideas and gags in there, as save for the ending and a couple jokes beforehand, it was pretty standard stuff. Very solid for a first project tho, if you guys took this same energy and talent and applied it to more experimental out there ideas and gags you could do some really incredible stuff. You all got a ton of potential as artists, keep at it!

Really great job! Super entertaining the whole way through, and it's awesome seeing how much personality there was to every aspect of this. Easily one of the most unique and fun animations I've seen in a while, real inspiring stuff!

pretty good stuff. i feel a lot of these limited animation talky cartoons on the site tend to be really boring but this was well done, the rapper characters are great and there's some rly funny jokes and ideas. personally i felt the braces guy had some forced delivery and acting; i could tell it's meant to mimic natural speak with the pauses and stuttering but imo it felt very phoned in at times and got a little annoying. otherwise it's pretty enjoyable, solid stuff!

Gotta say I agree completely with the point you're making and it's a pleasant surprise to see an animation actually acknowledging this issue with the site. That being said, this was executed pretty sloppily.

The audio is genuinely terrible and the acting is really weak, I struggled to understand a lot of it and there's still a couple lines I can't make out. There's some nice backgrounds but otherwise this is weak visually as well, the art is so simple that it doesn't make up for the lack of animation and just feels lazy.

The actual dialogue and jokes were a miss for me too, there's so much potential to do a rly funny spiteful cartoon making fun of the derivative content on the site but these were like the most surface level jabs. The stuff about ppl obsessing over Jeff was kinda funny, but the rest of the jokes just boiled down to sarcastically referencing ng stuff; If you're making fun of hack jokes you gotta do more than just cynically repeat them.

I think you had a lot of potential here but you really could've done smth so much funnier and well put together. ik this is already a few months old but I just saw this and felt the need to leave a review, cus I really think you had something here. Personally I think the site needs more animations that actually challenges and pokes jabs at its own community time to time, and I'd like to see more with stronger executions.

Love this, easily your best toon imo. Great designs and character animation, smth about how casual and chill the conversation is really adds a lot of personality to it too. Really charming fun stuff!

One of the most impressive movies I've seen on the site. So many cool uses of mixed media and I can tell a lot of effort went into every aspect of this. Everything from the cinematography, the lighting, and composition of all the elements was done so well in rly creative ways. I like how the credits have some behind the scenes stuff too, would love to see more or even just hear about what went into making this, great stuff!
