It's alright but quite frankly it's got nothing on the Angry Birds reanimate collab

Pretty great! Really nice animation and posing, lotta energy in the visuals throughout. I feel the story coulda been more fleshed out, the ending in particular felt pretty underwhelming. I think the high energy action scenes would've benefited from more fitting music, or even just giving the music more presence, the track felt kinda distant from the action going on and didn't really add a whole lot. Really good all around tho, with more developed stories and better audio, you could have sum real incredible stuff here!
Pretty fun! Cool to see how you've evolved, I like this aesthetic you've developed over time. Animation is real solid, consistently high energy and fun. I also dig the more surreal visuals with the weird 3d n everything.
Fred's voice is an improvement for sure, the character in general is more likeable than in the last short you did. Personally I thought he was kinda overly sarcastic and sassy in that short, didn't have much charisma or any real funny element to him, he was just kinda annoying. He works better here where he's still sorta the straight man, but not just making basic snarky remarks all the time.
I will say I'm not a fan of Eric's voice, he barely speaks so it's not really an issue here, but I do think his voice and how he skips certain words is kind of a typical "stupid cartoon voice" if that makes sense. Not really any charisma or charm to it, just sounds like the first thing that came to mind when thinking "stupid voice". I'd try to develop it further.
In terms of humor I do think it's a bit basic, some funny visuals but not a whole lot beyond pretty simple slapstick. Not against slapstick at all, I think a lot of golden age cartoons are great, but I think they also have a lot of other inventive funny ideas and jokes that add to the physical comedy, there was a bit of that here but not a whole lot. Would be a good idea to play up the more surreal elements going forward, I think that's where the creativity of the series shines the most.
Pretty good first ep, you got solid groundwork to really push yourself to do more out there stuff, keep at it Trusty!
okay
Tough but fair criticism about Eric's voice. In retrospect, I don't think it really takes either. Sorry if I shredded your eardrums
Been coming back to this a lot, so good. This really stands out to me, as I feel there are few cartoons that have this sort of dry humor and dialogue, while also having such care for presentation and quality. Rare to see that sort of combination! Such great animation, backgrounds, and overall atmosphere, luv it
Good to hear. Now what I'd like to know from you is when will the Tornada Website be back up?

edit: y'know what, hanging out and taking shots with you guys really put things into perspective. i think i've really learned a lot those couple nights and it made me think, maybe i really am willing to put all this 0 star nonsense behind us, water under the bridge! thought i'd bump up my score just a wee bit, hope this patches things up brotha 😉
thanks for the 5 stars

I'm on a police watchlist, I can't go to Toronto anymore. :(
You're a lolcow 😏
The slime will consume all
*sees hand in the thumbnail* yeah okay, I've seen enough.
Pretty great stuff! It's cool seeing cartoony animation with this much polish and care put into it, some real beautiful animation and paintings in here. I do think you guys could've had some more inventive ideas and gags in there, as save for the ending and a couple jokes beforehand, it was pretty standard stuff. Very solid for a first project tho, if you guys took this same energy and talent and applied it to more experimental out there ideas and gags you could do some really incredible stuff. You all got a ton of potential as artists, keep at it!
